SUMMARY:ISMTE Asian-Pacific Conference 2018
DESCRIPTION:The 11th ISMTE North American conference will be held at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel\, 2nd-3rd August\, 2018. \nThe conference theme for the 2018 events is ‘Committed to Editorial Excellence’. The agenda for the event is currently being assembled. News will be added to the ISMTE website as it becomes available. \nIn addition to the conference\, ISMTE will be hosting an additional practical workshop focussed on plagiairism and similarity checking. The session will be held on Wednesday 2nd August\, and is designed for editorial office staff to discuss the current published guidelines on plagiarism\, how editorial offices can use those guidelines to define in-house standards\, use of tools such as iThenticate software\, and when text reuse might be acceptable. \nIn order to attend this additional workshop\, registration to the ISMTE North American Conference is required. \nThe registration form for he conference and workshop\, along with further details are available on the ISMTE website
