Dr. Andreja Brajša-Žganec (female) PhD is scientific advisor with tenure at the Ivo Pilar Institute of social sciences and Full Professor tenure of Developmental psychology, University of Zagreb. Her research interests include psychosocial adjustment of children and youth, family and parenting, children well-being, quality of family and school life, and she has particular expertise in survey research. She has experience of leading (e.g. ‘Situation analysis of children’s and women’s rights in Croatia” and External evaluation of the “For safe and enabling school environment” – both funded by UNICEF) and participating in major research projects (e.g. Horizon 2020 ECDP project “European Child Development Project”; FP7 EU MYWEB project – Measuring youth well- being; CRO-WELL “Croatian longitudinal study of well-being funded by Croatian Scientific Foundation; ”Determinants of parenting, family relationships and children’s well-being”- funded by the Croatian Ministry of Science). Currently she is principal investigator on project CHILD-WELL “Child Well-being in Family Context” funded by Croatian Scientific Foundation and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Društvena istraživanja Journal for General Social Issues.
