Dr. İlknur Erenler Bayraktar  was graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty in 2000 and completed her general surgery residency in 2007 in  the Department of General Surgery of Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty.

In 2005, she was qualified for ECFMG Certification. She studied as an observer in the Deparment of colorectal surgery in Cleveland Clinic Digestive Disease Instute, Cleveland-USA in 2012.

In 2015 in Munich, Germany, She studied in the general surgery clinic of Klinikum rechts der Isar.

In 2021, she passed the European Board examination (EBSQ-C) and received the certificate of coloproctologist.

She has been a member of the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery (TSCRS) since 2006. She has a membership of many scientific organizations in the field of surgery.

Her special interests are colorectal surgery, advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, gastrointestinal oncology.
