A  Canadian citizen,Marylu has been working in Germany since 2001 as freelance copy/editor of Springer Verlag life-science journals (3 years), Walter deGruyter (1 year), and the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology (9 years), including over 200 journal articles, book projects, special issues and book chapters, coauthored/coedited by our departmental director. Target journals/publishing platforms: Lancet, Nature, NEJM, Eur J Immunol, J Infect Dis, Cell press, mBio, PLoS, PNAS, Cold Spring Harbor Perspectives, Sem in, Curr Opin in, Vaccine, etc.

She offers services related to improving structure, format and language of life science-related manuscripts, as well as support for all phases of submission  for early stage career scientists.
