In April 2018, ResearchGate and publishers including Springer Nature entered into an agreement to collaborate on the amicable sharing of articles between platforms.
From 1st March, Springer Nature will begin adding full text articles, published since November 2017 from 26 subscription journals, to the profiles of authors on ResearchGate.
This marks a promising step towards more fruitful integration between publishers and the highly active researcher community of 15 million users, enhancing the visibilty and availability of research, whilst establishing Springer Nature as a cooperative player in the turbulent new paradigms of scholarly article sharing.
