We provide two ways for members to exchange ideas, information and experience related to the world of academic publishing in science.
- ListServ email forum: New members are automatically added to the ListServ, but can unsubscribe at any time. To subscribe please go HERE.
- EASE Web Forums: We provide online “chat” forums for dedicated topics, some of which are members-only, some of which are open groups for everyone to join in. New members are automatically added to EASE General Discussion Forum but can subscribe any time. As with the ListServ email group, these are available for discussions on any issue of relevance to membership. You can check the available Forums and Groups HERE.
We encourage and support the formation of groups of interest. These may be subject focused (e.g. the Gender Policy Group), or regional (e.g. the Croatian Regional Chapter). We support the formation of these groups by providing a home page on the EASE site, plus dedicated discussion forums if required.
EASE on Social Media
You can also follow EASE on social media via our LinkedIn group, or on Twitter. EASE has a Facebook group and a Facebook page. Our journal European Science Editing has its own Twitter account.
EASE has a blog featuring short summaries of recently published articles, and general news. A great way to keep up with what is happening in editing and publishing and to discuss interesting items: See the blog at https://ese-bookshelf.blogspot.com
EASE Events and conferences
EASE holds and supports various events, including the biannual conference which is an excellent place to meet other editors as well as hear great presentations. Read more about our events HERE.
