New Co-Leadership Announced for EASE Regional Chapter Committee
EASE is pleased to announce a new leadership partnership for the Regional Chapter Committee. Professor Iryna Izarova (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv) will be joined by Professor Cheol-Heui Yun (Seoul National University) to co-lead the committee’s global initiatives.
This partnership comes at a pivotal time for the Association, which now supports over 600 members and manages 13 national and regional chapters worldwide.
Professor Yun brings an exceptional international pedigree to this role as a distinguished scientist and a central figure in the global editorial community, currently serving as:
President of the Korea Council of Science Editors (KCSE)
Chair of Biomodulation Major, Seoul National University
Editor-in-Chief of Animal Bioscience
With a career spanning leading research institutes including the NIH (USA), USDA (USA), and Gothenburg University (Sweden), Professor Yun has published over 230 SCIE papers. His commitment to excellence has been recognized with the Seoul National University Excellence in Teaching Award and official commendations from the Korean Ministry of Science and Technology. Currently, he is a regular member of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology.
Together, Professor Izarova and Professor Yun will focus on bridging regional editorial standards, fostering global collaboration, and advancing key projects, including EASE Translation Initiative. This partnership marks a significant step in EASE’s mission to uphold research integrity and support science editors across all continents.
