The Croatian Association for Scholarly Communication (CROASC or ZNAK) and the National and University Library in Zagreb, in collaboration with Elsevier, have organised the Scopus Day – Workshop for Croatian journal editors, which took place on 16 September 2025 from 13 to 17 h CEST at the CroAtrium, Conference Hall Judita, National and University Library in Zagreb.
At the workshop, an overview of Croatian scientific journals and their indexing in Scopus was given, along with useful tips for inclusion in the database. Also, CROASC and HRČAK representatives showed the trends in journal development and efforts for improving the quality and visibility of Croatian journals undertaken in recent years. An example of the journal Peristil, published by the Croatian Society of Art Historians, and its path to Scopus was shown. Editors also had the opportunity to receive answers to the questions about the inclusion of journals in Scopus or suggestions for the journals’ improvements.
