Timetable
7 January – Invitation to submit abstracts opens
Each abstract will be assessed within 14 days of submission and you will receive some feedback and an invitation to submit a final poster if approved.
10 April – Invitation to submit abstracts closes
17 April – Closing date for final posters to be submitted
1 May – Exhibition goes live on Conference webpages
14 May – Exhibition goes live at Conference venue
16 May – winners and runners up in each category present their poster at the Conference (in-person or online).
Technical specification
To submit a poster, please provide it in .pdf format, for publication on the Conference website in landscape or portrait orientation.
Posters will be printed by EASE in Oslo to exhibit at the Conference venue. Please ensure they are print quality and less than A1 size.
If you wish, you may also provide a <5-minute video presentation in .mp4 format with audio in English, which will be published alongside your poster. This is optional. Please prepare a transcript of the audio and upload your files to this folder by the closing date, 17 April.
Marks scheme
Please note the judging panel will use the following marks scheme to judge the scientific poster entries.
- Organisational and study framework
20 marks
- Novel nature of the content: ie does this add to our scientific knowledge
10 marks
- Content: quality of the research methodology and the scientific information, sufficient referencing, correct use of tables and graphs
20 marks
- Presentation style, clarity of communication, readability and visual appeal
10 marks
