We warmly welcome you to the 14th International Conference on Ethics Education, which will be held in Amsterdam (the Netherlands), from 24th to 26th June 2026.
With the central theme of Shaping the Future: Educating Responsible Professionals, this conference will bring experts in the field of ethics education together to exchange knowledge, best practices and critically reflect on current needs in education, training, and ways to shape responsible professionals. There will also be interactive workshops and opportunities for networking with both national and international colleagues.
We welcome researchers, academics, (health) professionals, policy advisors and students from the field of ethics education, research ethics, research integrity, and responsible conduct in research.
Confirmed plenary speakers:
- Professor James DuBois (Professor of Medical Ethics and Professionalism and Director of the Center for Clinical and Research Ethics at Washington University, USA)
- Dr. Johannes Katsarov (Research Associate at Leuphana – University Lüneburg, Germany)
Additionally, we have planned several workshops and plenary sessions on topics such as:
– The challenges of AI in ethics education practices and health
– What moral competences are expected from professionals?
– Moral case deliberation in clinical practice and in education
– The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL)
