Foreign Trade University Joins EASE Vietnam, Announces Seminar on AI Ethics in Publishing

On October 9th, 2024, representatives from Foreign Trade University joined the Vietnamese Chapter of the European Association of Science Editors (EASE) to celebrate their recent membership as an institutional partner of EASE. During this initial meeting, Dr. Pham Hung-Hiep, Chair of the EASE Vietnamese Chapter, held a working session with members from the university’s Journal of International Economics and Management (JIEM) to discuss potential collaboration.

Plans are underway for EASE Vietnam, Foreign Trade University, and JIEM to host a collaborative seminar in December 2024. The event will center on pressing topics related to artificial intelligence (AI) and the ethical dimensions in scientific publishing. Furthermore, this partnership is expected to foster valuable knowledge exchange, ultimately contributing to the advancement of academic publishing standards in Vietnam and enhancing the university’s impact within the academic community.
