Pedro Gomes Peixoto

(PhD Student – Agronomy, Entomology) | Biologist Researcher

Pedro Gomes Peixoto (M.Sc.) is a researcher actively engaged in the fields of sustainability, agriculture, insect rearing and biology (focused on Integrated Pest Management (IPM)), and the application of AI in data intelligence and information processing. His work encompasses topics such as the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in agriculture, remote sensing, beneficial biodiversity, and sustainable agricultural practices. Currently, he is working on projects that integrate technology to analyze the spatiotemporal dynamics of sugarcane pests, with a particular emphasis on Sphenophorus levis.
