Panel discussion on Open Access to scientific monographs

There is an open debate in the European Union on the need to support Open Access to all publicly funded research outputs, including scientific monographs, which are in large part published by commercial publishers. Therefore, business models for supporting publishing in OA should be proposed. Croatian National Plan for Open Science and Open Access is being developed by the HR-OOZ initiative. This plan should take into account the specifics of scientific monograph publishing, so a discussion between all participants in the process was organized with the aim to detect key points that should be included in the plan.
