As part of Peer Review Week 2025, the EASE Macedonian Chapter and the Macedonian Association for Scientific Communication (MASC) brought together experts to discuss the future of peer review in Macedonia and beyond. The event explored how peer review can remain ethical, transparent, and effective at a time of growing technological transformation.
The 2025 theme was: “The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Innovative Approaches in Peer Review: Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Directions for Improving the Quality and Integrity of Scientific Research.”
Speakers presented on topics including the foundation of the Macedonian Association for Scientific Communication, the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence in peer review, the invisible yet powerful role of reviewers, strategies to address reviewer workload, and the visibility of peer review in Macedonian scientific journals.
This webinar was held in the Macedonian language.
The event was free and open to all.
