Afrodita Zendelska has been part of the academic staff of the Goce Delcev University Stip, North Macedonia, since the establishment of the University in 2007. She has developed within this University as a professional and as a member of the academic community, starting from teaching assistant to her present position as associate professor.
This academic growth was in field of mineral processing and environmental engineering, as a member of the Department of Mineral Processing at the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences. She teaches several courses on the first, second, and third cycle of studies at the Faculty: Wastewater Treatment, Waste Management, Mineral Processing and Recycling Technology. Through the years she has been published teaching resources such as books, workbooks, and published many scientific articles and research in environmental engineering and mineral processing as her main focus and interest but has also collaborated in multidisciplinary research and scientific projects as coauthor and researcher. She is professional associate at the AMBICON Laboratory where she works on developing and implementation of methods using X-ray fluorescence spectrometry and its application for elemental analysis of Air Particulate Matter (AMBICON).
Also, she is the managing and editor-in-chief of the international scientific journal established in 2007 by the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences, Goce Delcev University in Stip, Natural Resources and Technology, a journal that is part of the UGD publishing system and indexed in EBSCO (Natural Resources and Technology).
