I am a full-time science editor and consultant, with an extensive research background in life sciences. An enthusiastic, thorough, and informed partner, I am empowering my Clients to communicate their science in the most effective and impactful manner, to obtain funding and publish their research findings. As a self-employed professional (since 2015; incorporated in 2025), a scientist with a flair for writing and an analytical mind, I collaborate with a variety of Clients (academic and corporate) to provide high-end substantive science editing, manuscript rescue, and consulting services. I have developed extensive understanding and appreciation of science during many years as a successful researcher (MSc Biotechnology; PhD Biological Sciences) exploring prokaryotic and eukaryotic molecular biology in top laboratories in Europe and North America. As a registered EU expert, I reviewed EC grant proposals. My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and basic biomedical research (infection biology). I specialize in grant proposals and research manuscripts. In addition to document development, I offer per-hour consultation sessions (via a video link) on any and all aspects of grant application and manuscript preparation.
