Dr. Liliana M. Costa (orcid.org/0009-0001-5834-9323) is a Senior Managing Editor at Oxford University Press (OUP). In her role, she manages a Japanese society-owned title (Plant & Cell Physiology), providing training and support to authors, reviewers and editors, including early career researchers. She is also a member of OUP’s Ethics Team and Plant Science Working Group, and currently serves on the International Society of Managing & Technical Editors’ European Advisory Council (ISMTE-EUAC). Lili holds a BSc.(Hons) in Biological Sciences (Univ. Manchester), and a D.Phil. (Oxon) in Plant Molecular Genetics. She has more than seven years postdoctoral research and teaching experience, and has authored >25 articles, including primary research publications in high-impact, international peer-reviewed journals.
