Lubna Duggal is Senior Consultant at the Word Lab, Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS), Bengaluru, where she provides editorial assistance for in-house publications and works of IIHS researchers and practitioners, including academic papers, grey literature and public-facing formats. She heads the Editorial Office, managing the submissions, peer review, copyediting and publication processes as Associate Editor at Urbanisation, IIHS’s flagship journal, and as part of Ecology, Economy and Society–the INSEE Journal‘s Editorial Office (supported by IIHS). She also serves as a Working Editor, Indian Journal of Medical Ethics, where she advises the editorial office.
Prior to IIHS, Lubna was Senior Assistant Editor at Economic & Political Weekly, Mumbai, where she managed the production of weekly issues, and worked on the development and implementation of the house style, the peer review process, and the article management system.
