I am a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries (Split, Croatia). My research is in the field of marine ecology and is mostly related to bivalve ecology and sclerochronology, including analysis of tissue, shell growth increment structures and shell geochemistry. Special attention is devoted to long-living, commercially important and protected bivalve species. I am also interested in bivalve aquaculture and fisheries, and in collaboration with colleagues from the home Institute, I participate in research related to fish ecology and fisheries.
