Oleksii Lyulyov is a Doctor of Economic Sciences and Professor, currently serving as Head of the Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management at Sumy State University (Ukraine) and Full Professor at WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza (Poland). His academic career combines leadership in higher education, international research collaboration, and advanced interdisciplinary scholarship at the intersection of economics, sustainability, and marketing.
Professor Lyulyov’s research focuses on neuromarketing, green economic growth, country branding, and modeling and forecasting of socio-economic systems. He has extensive experience applying advanced quantitative methods, including econometric modeling, foresight analysis, productivity and efficiency assessment, and bibliometric techniques, to address challenges related to sustainable development and post-crisis economic recovery.
He has authored and co-authored more than 200 scientific publications, including papers in leading Web of Science and Scopus journals, and several academic monographs. Professor Lyulyov serves as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Marketing and Management of Innovation and is a member of editorial and advisory boards of several international journals. He is also an active reviewer for high-impact journals in economics, energy, sustainability, and management.
Professor Lyulyov has coordinated and participated in numerous international research and educational projects, including Jean Monnet Modules and Erasmus+ initiatives, and has been involved in collaborative projects with partners across the European Union and beyond. His academic contributions have been recognized through national and international awards, including distinctions for excellence in research and teaching.
In addition to research, he is actively engaged in teaching and supervision at Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels, with particular emphasis on marketing research, digital and AI-driven marketing tools, and sustainability-oriented economic policy.
