Paresh has been working as a Scientific Editor at Elsevier since the beginning of 2022 and is currently based in Munich, Germany. Prior to joining Elsevier, he had three post-doctoral research stints in Kyoto and Nagoya (Japan) and Saarbrücken (Germany). Paresh obtained his PhD in Chemistry at the University of Bonn, Germany which also included a semester abroad at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He has 12 years of academic research experience in the field of molecular inorganic, organometallic and main-group chemistry and has published more than 25 papers in top journals. Paresh is the recipient of Marie-Curie, Alexander von Humboldt, JSPS (standard), JSPS (short-term) and DAAD (PPP) research fellowships and is a member of the European Association of Science Editors (EASE) since 2024.
