Tibor Komar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. For the past three years, he has also served as Editor-in-Chief of Studia Ethnologica Croatica, an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published annually, featuring articles on various anthropological topics. In addition to teaching, his research interests include the anthropology of sports, pre-Christian religions, and heritage interpretation.
