Biểu mẫu Rút ấn phẩm Tiêu chuẩn (Standardized Retraction Form) được thiết kế để hỗ
trợ các biên tập viên chuẩn bị thông báo rút ấn phẩm (publications), và giúp các nhà
nghiên cứu phân tích các trường hợp rút ấn phẩm.
Mẫu này giúp các biên tập viên và quản lý tạp chí hiểu rõ liệu một ấn phẩm có đáp ứng
các điều kiện tiên quyết được nêu trong Hướng dẫn rút ấn phẩm của COPE hay không.
Biểu mẫu bao gồm các ô để đánh dấu (tick boxes) và khoảng trống (space) để cung cấp
các thông tin cần thiết, nhằm chỉ rõ ai là người yêu cầu rút ấn phẩm, nguyên nhân cần rút
ấn phẩm, cũng như lịch sử các chỉnh sửa (corrections) hoặc các nhận định quan ngại
(expressions of concern) được thực hiện đối với ấn phẩm. Ngoài ra, một khung văn bản
trống được cung cấp cho phép biên tập viên bổ sung các thông tin cần thiết khác, và một
khung “Thông báo Rút ấn phẩm” cuối cùng được sử dụng để tóm tắt các chi tiết trong
biểu mẫu thành văn bản công bố chính thức.

Retractions are often used as a proxy for publication quality and have been studied with cohorts of various sizes over different time periods. Time after time the results have shown that there is often no clearly stated reason for retraction and any reasons that are given often lack detail.
This retraction template checklist was designed to support editors when preparing a retraction notice, and help researchers analyse retractions.
This template helps editors and journal managers understand whether an article meets the pre-requisites for the COPE retraction guidelines.
