On 1 July 2025, EASE Ukraine held a meeting to reflect on recent achievements, share updates, and coordinate future initiatives.

– Highlights from the EASE Annual Conference in Oslo, where the chapter’s poster won the competition;
– Welcoming new members from Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education;
– A report on a recent workshop tackling predatory publishing practices, supported by our chapter and partners such as DOAJ, EIFL, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
– Progress on translating key EASE materials, including Writing Your Research Paper and Recommendations on the Use of AI in Scholarly Communication;
– Open discussion on membership fees and sustainable funding models;
– A brief discussion on proposed amendments to the Ukrainian list of scholarly journals and the importance of ethical communication within academia.
