EASE and our journal, European Science Editing, became signatories to the UN Sustainable Development Goals Publishers Compact, in May 2021 and we encourage our members to pledge their support by signing up too.

Our top priority SDGs are

• SDG5 Gender Equality
• SDG10 Reduced Inequalities

We are also active in SDG12 Responsible Consumption and Production through our digital policies and our policies of running online administrative meetings and online and hybrid conferences alternatively. We support SDG13 Climate Action through our Global Forest initiative.

Along with our fellow signatories, we report our progress against a baseline survey each year using the SDG Checklist and IPA Dashboard.
