The EASE Virtual Forest is growing!

The latest contribution to our global plantations comes from the organisers of EMPSEB29 conference, which Duncan Nicholas attended in the Summer to give an EASE workshop on Science Communication.

Their donation of 35 trees to the Home for Trees project in Czechia takes our grand total to 1891 trees around the world, at 23 different plantations organized through the Plant For The Planet scheme.

The EASE Forest was established in June 2021 following the 15th EASE General Assembly and Conference on the theme of Sustainability. The concept was to create a distributed Forest, through which we could support restoration and planting projects in different countries over time, and continually grow our EASE Forest with each of our initiatives in the years to come.

This picture shows where in the world our trees have been planted.

You can see an interactive map of the projects are trees are planted at, and gift some trees to help us grow our EASE Forest by clicking on the ‘Plant trees’ button in our Virtual Forest webpage.
