European Science Editing indexed in Web of Science

We are delighted to announce that EASE journal European Science Editing has been accepted into the Web of Science Emerging Source Citation index.

The journal can be found in the Web of Science Master Journal List now and will receive its first Impact Factor in the forthcoming iteration of the metrics this Summer.

This achievement marks another milestone in our continuing efforts to enhance the presence and impact of our journal, following our conversion to full diamond-model open access with an ARPHA publishing platform in 2020, refreshed Editorial Board and appointment of new Editors, being awarded a DOAJ Seal (which DOAJ no longer award), and most recently integration with Science Open just before our conference in May.

European Science Editing Chief Editor, Ksenija Baždarić says:

This is a recognition of the joint work of our authors, reviewers, editors and EASE in promoting science communication. The journal publishes peer-reviewed original research, reviews and personal viewpoints on all aspects of scholarly editing and publishing such as peer review, bibliometrics, open science, predatory publishing, statistics, writing, translation, and ethics, to help editors improve the quality and integrity of publications for which they are responsible.

ESE is read by a broad readership, including journal editors, scholarly publishing and communication professionals, researchers, consultants, policy makers, author’s editors, technical editors, copyeditors and translators.
