EASE North Macedonia webinar: National H-index Ranking
Macedonian National H-index Ranking is an independent international ranking aimed at assessing the scientific productivity of scientists, research groups, and organizations in North Macedonia based on the consolidated Hirsch index (https://journals.mk/index.php/index/h-index). The ranking considers the total Hirsch index of Macedonians scientific institutions, addressing information from scientometric databases and platforms such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Based on these data, the National H-index Ranking indicator and the corresponding ranked position in the ranking (Position) are formed.

EASE North Macedonia Event: Macedonian Language in Scientific Journals
The use of local languages in scientific publications is a partial approach and many scientific journals avoid publishing in the Macedonian language. Intensive improvement of computer translation from the Macedonian language and Artificial Intelligence (AI) support the use of local languages in scientific publishing. Open Journal Systems (OJS) and other software from the Public Knowledge Projects (PKP) enable the efficient use of the Macedonian language in scientific publications. In this webinar, we will try to present the current situation and propose minimum standards for the inclusion of the Macedonian language in scientific publishing.

International Open Access Week – Macedonia, 2024.
Open Access Week is an opportunity for the academic and research community to continue to learn about the potential benefits of Open Access, to share what they’ve learned with colleagues, and to help inspire wider participation in helping to make Open Access a new norm in scholarship and research.
