EASE webinar: Effective social media use for journal and article promotion

Tuesday, 21 February 2023 1pm-2pm (UK time)

Social media has turned from a communication channel into an integrated playground that ensures quality implementation of communication strategy, efficiency and measurability of communication goals, and above all, a tool that can be used to increase work impact and reputational upgrading within the academic or scientific community.

However, social media management requires strategic guidelines that will be complemented with a plan, a clear vision and a time commitment to achieve effective results. This session offered answers to frequent questions and challenges, such as how to encourage two-way communication, increase the engagement of the general public, opt for an ideal social media platform for the distribution and promotion of particular content or ultimately facilitate online collaboration with other institutions and researchers.
