EASE Webinar: The CSE Manual: Introducing and Exploring the 9^th Edition

In May 2024, the Council of Science Editors (CSE) released the 9^th Edition of The CSE Manual—CSE’s longstanding, comprehensive style guide for authors, editors, publishers, and other scholarly publishing professionals in all areas of science and its related fields. The manual’s 33 chapters underwent various degrees of revision for this most recent edition; however, regardless of the extent to which any one chapter was revised, each contributor was charged with the task of assessing the accuracy, adequacy, and continued relevance of the content of this widely used reference. This webinar featured perspectives from four contributors to the 9^th Edition who shared their respective approaches toward their assigned content and discussed their rationales for select revisions that were made to one of CSE’s preeminent publications.
