With over 10 years of experience in scientific publishing, Karin Hoch Fehlauer brings a broad mix of knowledge across fields like biology, medicine, health, veterinary sciences, agrarian sciences, human sciences, education, and law. With a master’s degree from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and a PhD from the University of São Paulo (USP), Karin has completed her postdoctoral research at USP along with time at the Natural History Museum in London. She is a biologist and a translator and regularly leads webinars and workshops on scientific writing and editorial ethics. She has authored 14 scientific articles and has worked as an editor for Zootaxa.
