Unfiltered Academia: Ask the Expert. Anything is a live AMA built specifically for researchers navigating academic publishing and career decisions. No presentations just direct, honest responses to your questions.

Bring your questions on publishing, peer review, or academic careers and get clear, experienced-backed answers. You can also submit your questions in advance during registration.

What this session will focus on

  • How editors and reviewers evaluate your work
  • Common reasons manuscripts get rejected (and how to avoid them)
  • Navigating authorship, journal selection, and submission strategy
  • The growing role of AI and digital tools in research workflows
