Dr Shalini Garg

Editor-in-Chief, Lancet Regional Health South East Asia

Shalini is based in Chennai, India. She completed a doctoral fellowship from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (India). She also has a Master of Public Health from Mahatma Gandhi University (India). Before joining The Lancet Group as the founding Editor-in-Chief of The Lancet Regional Health – Southeast Asia, Shalini worked in academia and publishing for two years. Shalini’s main areas of interest are Public health, health promotion, epidemiology, chronic diseases and behavioural sciences.

Yateendra Joshi

Copy editor and trainer

Yateendra Joshi has been editing technical documents for more than 30 years, a career change he made after working for a decade as a scientist with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (1978-88)

Roohi Ghosh

Cactus Communication Ambassador – Researcher Success
