Daniel S. Evanko is the Senior Director of Journal Operations and Systems at the American Association for Cancer Research. In his role as Head of Editorial Services for the Nature journals, he led multiple initiatives to improve editorial service. Daniel’s current position at the American Association for Cancer Research allows him to contribute to an organization devoted to serving the research community on various levels.
In his current position, Daniel oversees the editorial operations of the society’s ten research journals, manages the development and implementation of new technology solutions, and spearheads the journals’ efforts to improve the transparency and reproducibility of the research they publish.
