Lu Sun is a PhD candidate in the Design Lab at University of California San Diego, advised by Prof. Steven Dow and Prof. Kristen Vaccaro. Her research interests focus on Human-Computer Interaction and social computing. She explores the potential of using AI/LLM to scaffold knowledge work, including sensemaking and writing, in the scientific context. She also develops interfaces to facilitate the academic peer review processes.
