Our 18th EASE General Assembly and Conference took place in Oslo, Norway on 14-16 May 2025. Our hosts were The Norwegian Medical Association, led by EASE Council member, Are Brean.
Our Conference featured a scientific programme of 12 sessions, with over 30 speakers drawn from across the globe. We held two optional workshops on Tuesday, 13 May and were delighted to welcome our sister society, ISMTE, who hosted a workshop on the morning of Wednesday, 14 May. In recognition of all our delegates, 194 trees have been planted by our partners ‘Plant for the Planet‘ at the ‘Yucatán Restoration’ project in Mexico. Read more.
We held our 23rd AGM and our Editorial Board meetings ahead of the Conference. Our Poster exhibition was open to view in the Conference venue, and is still available to view online.
The dates were scheduled to coincide with Norway’s National day on 17 May. Some delegates stayed to watch the Children’s parade and take part in celebrations on Saturday.
