The EASE Virtual Forest continues to grow

Following the success of our recent Conference we are delighted to announce that a further 328 trees have been planted in our Virtual Forest. These represent a gift for each delegate and a prize for the winners of the Poster Competition in three categories: scientific poster, non-scientific poster and best poster by a Turkish author.

This new planting round brings our total number of trees planted to a whopping 1,311 in 19 countries around the world. We are very proud to have passed the thousand tree milestone, and extend a big thank you to our planting partners, Plant-for-the-Planet.

If you would like to donate a tree, or even 10, to our virtual forest, visit our Virtual Forest’s webpage and do your bit to help mitigate the negative effects of climate change.

We also plant trees for every member who renews their membership early, so get ready for our messages in December to add to our expanding forest.

This initiative was created by the EASE Environment and Sustainability Committee. It supports the United Nations sustainable development goals and our commitment to the SDG Publishers Compact. This action supports seven of the 17 goals.
