UK Committee on Research Integrity – first annual statement

The UK Committee on Research Integrity published its first annual statement on research integrity last week. The statement highlights ongoing efforts to ensure UK research is trustworthy, ethical, and responsible, and identifies areas for further work, drawing on the most recent available evidence and new analyses they have commissioned. It provides information about the overall health of the research system and in it they also identify several areas that they aim to prioritise in the next two years. The committee also suggest actions for the research sector to further support and strengthen research integrity, including for funders, publishers, HEIs and research performing institutions.
