ACCORD (ACcurate COnsensus Reporting Document): A reporting guideline for consensus methods in biomedicine developed via a modified Delphi

Gattrell and colleagues developed the ACCORD reporting guideline to improve transparency and accuracy in reporting consensus methods in biomedical research. This guideline, created through a systematic review and Delphi process, includes 35 items covering various sections of a manuscript. ACCORD aims to enhance the clarity of consensus processes, thereby increasing trust in resulting recommendations. It is the first guideline dedicated to consensus-based studies in biomedical research.
