The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) provides guidelines for ethical conduct, covering authorship, conflict of interest disclosure, and data sharing. Despite ongoing challenges in implementation and evolving issues like predatory journals, continuous dialogue and adaptation of these recommendations are essential to uphold research integrity.
