  • June 2021 – Event The Author – Editor – Reviewer Relationship’ satellite session to 15th EASE Conference The Manifesto includes a quick check table, for editors, publishers or anyone who would like to get a sense of possible changes to their daily practices.
  • March 2021 – Event Celebrating English Studies at NBU: Five Years of Success
  • January 2021 – Training Workshop for language editors
  • January 2021 – Training Workshop for peer reviewers
  • January 2021 – Training Online training course for authors of scholarly articles
  • December 2020 – Seminar Correction and retraction policies and procedures. Reaction to information relating to actual or suspected misconduct, unethical behaviour or malpractice This seminar brought together editors and scholars from a number of Bulgarian universities. Stan Bogdanov, the Managing Editor of English Studies at NBU, presented ESNBU’s policies and templates for authors, i.e. Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement,  Correction and Retraction Policy, Complaints Policy and Procedure, and Contributor Roles in Multiple Author Submissions. The rest of the seminar revolved around several cases studies from ESNBU’s practice related to plagiarism, multiple publications, retractions, and complaints.
