What do editors and authors expect from manuscript editors?

The Q&A-style panel discussed what authors can expect from their editors at the different stages of a manuscript’s journey to publication. The panel considered common misconceptions around their roles and the publishing process, and the responsibilities of each role in helping to avoid misinformation in publishing. Through this discussion, the panel aimed to bring awareness to the many and varied ways that manuscript editors and peer review editors improve a manuscript.
