Introductory meeting to discuss the potential for a Regional Chapter of EASE for Nordic countries

In recent years EASE has established a Regional Chapter initiative to support our members within their home country or region. With such a global membership it made sense to provide some of our activities on a more local basis, to better focus on the specific needs of the editorial community in different parts of the world.

We are holding an introductory meeting online on Wednesday, 11 May, to discuss the possibility and appetite for establishing a regional chapter for the Nordic countries. EASE Vice President, Ines Steffens, from Eurosurveillance in Sweden is leading this initiative.

Topics under discussion will include:

  • Is there a need/desire to create an informal local structure for EASE members in the Nordic countries?
  • What issues/problems are you experiencing?
  • What support do you need to address the issues/problems above?

EASE already has a number of individual members and groups in these countries, and there is no additional cost for being part of the Chapter.

This event is open to anyone from the Nordic region, so please spread the word in your networks.
