EASE Yaz Sempozyumu – EASE Türkiye Uydu Oturumu

20 Mayıs 2026, Çarşamba

EASE (European Association of Science Editors) Türkiye Bölümü, 2–4 Haziran 2026 tarihlerinde düzenlenecek EASE Yaz Sempozyumu kapsamında, 20 Mayıs 2026 Çarşamba günü Türkiye saati ile 20:00’de (GMT+3) hakem eğitimine odaklanan bir projeye ilişkin bir uydu oturumu düzenlemektedir.

Oturumda öncelikle akademik yayıncılıkta hakem eğitiminin genel çerçevesi ele alınacak, ardından Türkiye bağlamındaki gereksinimler ve Peer Review Lab modeli üzerinde durulacaktır. Oturumda; akademik yayıncılıkta hakem eğitiminin genel görünümü, yabancı dil eğitimi alanına özgü hakemlik eğitimine ilişkin özellikler, Türkiye’nin bölgesel hakem eğitimi ihtiyaçları ve bunların alana etkisi, Peer Review Lab’in tasarımı ve hedefleri ile hakemlikte ortak bir kalite dilinin oluşturulması konuları ele alınacaktır.

EASE Summer Symposium – EASE Türkiye Satellite Session

Wednesday, 20 May 2026

EASE (European Association of Science Editors) Türkiye Chapter organized a satellite session on Wednesday, 20 May 2026 focused on reviewer training project as part of the EASE Summer Symposium, which will be held on 2–4 June 2026.

The session first addressed the general framework of reviewer training in academic publishing, followed by a discussion of the needs within the Turkish context and the Peer Review Lab model. Topics covered include the overall landscape of reviewer training in academic publishing, the specific characteristics of reviewer training in the field of foreign language education, Türkiye’s regional needs for reviewer training and their impact on the field, the design and objectives of Peer Review Lab, and the development of a shared language of quality in peer review.

He is an active researcher in forensic psychiatry, a member of the editorial board of the Asian Journal of Psychiatry, and a participant in the Editorial Board Development Programme of The Lancet Psychiatry.
