EASE Ukraine Meeting

EASE Ukraine invites you to a meeting where we will hear members’ perspectives on EASE’s mission, vision, and values. We will discuss how members see these guiding principles in practice and invite everyone to share their ideas and suggestions for shaping EASE’s future direction.

We will also review our translation activities. We are pleased to announce the completion of the EASE Interactive Checklist for Submitting Authors, now translated into Ukrainian. The checklist combines the individual EASE Form for Authors’ Contributions and Conflict of Interest Disclosure and the EASE Ethics Checklist for Authors into a single, easy-to-complete form with check-box responses, up-to-date questions, and terminology. We sincerely thank Nataliia Bazeliuk, Taras Kotyk, Ganna Novikova, Viktoria Ivanova and Bohdana Zahrebelna for their invaluable help in the translation. In addition, our Chapter continues working on the translation of the Peer-review Toolkit and other materials to support editors and authors across Ukraine.

We will also highlight upcoming initiatives and events, including a webinar, organised together with EASE Croatia during the Peer-review Week (15–19 September): “Peer Review Across Borders and Technologies: Localizing the EASE Toolkit in the AI Era”. This event will showcase how peer review adapts across languages, cultures, and technologies, promoting ethical and inclusive practices for editors and reviewers worldwide. EASE chapters, including EASE Ukraine, are localizing the Peer Review Toolkit to reflect diverse regional realities. Stay tuned for updates and join us to learn more and contribute to these initiatives!

Attendees will have the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions and contribute to the ongoing development of EASE resources, translations and initiatives.
