The editorial team of Pharmactuel join us to give us some practical insights into their evaluation of their journal processes for compliance regarding 56 ICMJE and 22 COPE criteria for ethical practices.

Session content

In January 2020, the editorial team of Pharmactuel evaluated its journal processes for compliance regarding 56 ICMJE and 22 COPE criteria for ethical practices. We found the journal to be fully compliant 73% with ICMJE criteria, and 91% compliant with COPE criteria. After implementing an action plan throughout 2020, modifying editorial policies, training associate editors, and creating appropriate guidelines for editorial board and editors, Pharmactuel achieved almost 100% compliance by January 2021.
