Joseph Krumpfer received his B.S. degree in chemistry and B.A. in classical studies from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ in 2007 and then obtained his Ph.D. in polymer science and engineering at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in 2012. He received an Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany, and then worked at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY as a professor of inorganic and polymer chemistry. He is currently an editor at Wiley working on Advanced Functional Materials, Small, Starch, Journal of Polymer Science and the Macromolecular journals.
