Ante Blaće has been working since as an Associate Professor at the University of Zadar’s Department of Geography since 2021. He graduated in Geography and History from the University of Zadar and completed his PhD thesis at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science. Currently, he teaches several courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Department of Geography. His scientific work focuses on land-use changes, landscape, tourism geography and development and the implementation of quantitative methods in geography. He previously served as a technical editor for Geoadria, a scientific journal published by the University of Zadar and Croatian Geographical Society – Zadar, from 2015 to 2022. Since 2022, he has been serving as the executive editor of the same journal. He is a member of the Croatian Association for Scholarly Communication (CROASC) and Morepress (University of Zadar’s OA publishing platform) board.  From 2021 to 2023 he was a member of HRČAK (Portal of Croatian Scientific and Professional Journals) Advisory Board.
