I am an independent copyeditor and proofreader specialising in preparing scholarly and technical content for publication.
I work with a range of clients, including publishers, UN agencies and related organisations, government departments and individual researchers, to ensure that their publications are clearly written, well structured and consistently styled.
I have been a freelance copyeditor since 2008, prior to which I worked in-house for two large publishing houses. I have many years of experience in editing journal papers, scholarly books in the sciences and humanities, and reports on topics such as international development and education.
As a Professional Member of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), I aim to stay up to date with the latest developments, apply best practice and uphold the highest standards in editing.
