In 1982, she graduated from the Voronezh State Medical Institute with a degree in dentistry. From 1986 to 1989, she was a postgraduate student at the Department of Normal Anatomy, Voronezh State Medical Institute. From 1985 to 2013, she worked at the Department of Normal Human Anatomy of the Voronezh State Medical Academy as an assistant, and then as an associate professor. In 2013, she was elected to the position of Head of the Department of Normal Human Anatomy. In 1993. she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: “Structural and metabolic characteristics of a kinesthetic analyzer under the action of an electromagnetic field” in the specialty “human anatomy”.In 2015, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Morphological features of the wound process in the skin under regional therapeutic influence”, specialty 03.03.04-cell biology, cytology, histology (medical sciences). I have the title of professor. Author of more than 400 publications, 7 monographs and 6 textbooks. Chairman of the Commission on Ecological Morphology of the Scientific Medical Society of Anatomists, Histologists, and Embryologists.
Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed scientific journal “Journal of Anatomy and Histopathology”. Member of the editorial board of the peer-reviewed scientific journals “Morphology”, “Bulletin of Experimental and Clinical Surgery”.
I am a member of the Dissertation Council of the DSU 208.001.01 at the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University) .
I am a member of the Expert Council of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
